1 Week Study Guide
The one-week plan was designed to expose you to only the extremely high yield topics and those areas of OMM that make up the largest portion tested. With such a short period of time, not all of the concepts will be covered, but those topics that are reported to be tested repeatedly will be included. This plan involves watching specific video courses, completing the associated worksheets and using the associated anki decks. While anki is typically marketed as a long term memorization tool, it can also be used as a last minute way to test your knowledge by acting in a similar fashion to answering questions, however long term memorization of these topics is unlikely in this amount of time.
6 MONTH STUDY GUIDE
The 6 month plan is intended for those who wish to master the Osteopathic Medicine Topics on Comlex and ensure no concepts fall through the cracks. This plan will expose you to all of the content provided in our videos, both the high yield concepts and the less commonly tested areas as well. We suggest you begin this guide during December of your OMS-2 year for students on a traditional learning path or 6 months prior to your expected testing date. Key aspects of this plan include watching the assigned videos, testing your knowledge with the associated worksheets and committing the information to long term memory with our custom Anki deck. Each video has an associated set of Anki cards which can be unsuspended after watching the associated video. The higher yield videos have purposefully been included earlier on in the guide to make sure you have mastered these concepts as they are almost guaranteed to show up on exam day, whereas the less commonly tested areas will be reviewed later in this plan as they are less important to memorize and may be better suited in your short term memory. This is a method that has worked for many of our students in the past and we continually get feedback about how effective it was for helping them score well on the OMM areas on Comlex.
